Give Little Ears The Protection They Need With HearMuffs

Baby Sis is only 3 months old but this time around I don’t get to just sit and lounge around all day with a little baby…I have 2 older girls that have school as well as activities and sports to get to. I also want to keep attending events and taking them to interesting places and I don’t want to be held back because we have a new member in the family. Many of the places we go to are quite loud and I do worry about my baby girl’s hearing. I know many moms and dads have this worry just like I do. For newborns to preschoolers Lucid Audio has a cool tool to keep out irritating and/or damaging sounds and let in soothing ones. Their HearMuffs give little ears the protection they need.

Lucid Audio has 3 styles of HearMuffs. The HearMuffs Soothe allows parents to speak with their child as little eardrums are protected from loud noises?without pulling off the ear muff to be heard. HearMuffs Sounds offers this feature plus four comforting sounds (lullaby, babbling brook, white noise, and heartbeat) while the base model HearMuffs protects children’s ears from loud noises and distractions.

Many Audiologists recommend kids as young as infants wear hearing protectors to limit exposure to loud noise. Starting from birth HearMuffs can protect little ears from potential cumulative damage in the future. My pictures are of the HearMuffs Sounds so that model and it’s features are the ones I will be focusing on.

To ensure a perfect fit, each HearMuff comes with a patented GrowBand that adjusts and fits a wide range of head sizes.? Made with super soft materials, it comfortably protects a child’s tender head. Parents will be happy to discover the GrowBand is machine washable and can be used with newborns up to the age of 4 years. The power button on the side is pressed once and it turns green. That means it is in the mode that allows your baby to hear you but block out loud and potentially harmful and annoying sounds. Press it again and it turns red. Then it is in sounds mode where you press down the volume wheel to toggle through lullaby, babbling brook, white noise, or heartbeat.

Families can enjoy loud restaurants, theme parks, stadiums and sporting events knowing even the youngest family members can be comfortable. Baby Sis here has worn them to Big Sis’ water polo games (which are surprisingly loud) as well as at our local theme parks here in Orlando. Especially wonderful during fireworks displays at the end of the day! Baby Sis doesn’t seem to mind them…so much in fact she goes right to sleep when wearing them. This is one of those items that would be really appreciated as a baby shower or holiday gift because parents won’t really think to ask for one but once they have it they will use it. Definitely an item that you didn’t know you needed until you have one! Now we don’t take Baby Sis out and about without it in the stroller because we are never quite sure when we are gonna need it.
