We have all heard of someone that is “a bad seed.” In The Bad Seed we find a seed that is indeed bad. He lies and even cuts in line. He was not always a bad seed though…
This is a book about a bad seed. A baaaaaaaaaad seed. How bad? Do you really want to know?
He has a bad temper, bad manners, and a bad attitude. He’s been bad since he can remember! This seed cuts in line every time, stares at everybody and never listens. But what happens when one mischievous little seed changes his mind about himself, and decides that he wants to behappy

A cute book that proves to kids everywhere that everyone can create a positive change within themselves no matter how “bad” others may think they are. You can see him being “bad” in the illustrations and kids can see how it affects the seeds around him. Kids might even get a chuckle out of how forward he is about his badness. We do get to see a turn around in himself which would make this an especially great book for class reading and discussion.
