The screen is see-through so you can slip the cards behind it and you will be able to see the design on the screen. When you draw the image is a fun multi-color. It also has a long 7 year battery life.
This is one of those toys that are even cooler in person. You literally press down on the screen using the included tools to create any design you want. When you are done simple press the black button and the screen instantly clears so you can draw all over again.
Both my almost 9 and almost 6 year old love it! They have put hours of play into this little device with no prompting from me. They really like the included stencils for the games and the tracing. Of course they use the educational stencils too but they are not their favorites lol.
I dare say this might actually be one of those hot toys for the holidays that kids will love! No cords so it is great for travel and it can be used for education or for fun making it an all around great art toy!
