?It is finally summer and my whole family is enjoying every minute of it it. We spend almost every weekend out and about on adventures or traveling to destinations that are within a few hours of home. Of course traveling with kids is not always easy as they can get bored quickly. One way to make it more fun is with with some tech that not only entertains kids but also teaches them new things at the same time. Samsung Kids has the Tech Kids Want When Traveling! Samsung Kids is a subscription service that offers children a library of top quality, educational content. The service is an ideal way to keep kids busy as they engage with games that promote math, STEM, language and creativity, along with favorite books and characters that help inspire a lifelong love of reading.
The Samsung Kids service is a NAPPA award winner and recent Tillywig Brain Award winner and is pre-loaded on select Galaxy tablets, including the Galaxy Kids Tab E Lite (like mine in the pictures) that comes with a neon-protective bumper designed especially for kids.
Rest assured everything on this tablet runs crystal clear. These are just quick phone photos of my girls using it so you can see some of the amazing features it offers.
In addition new content is added weekly for a renewed experience that keeps children engaged as they grow. This fun learning all-inclusive subscription service allows children to experience their favorite characters in a parental-controlled environment where parents can identify specific subject areas for their child to focus and control the amount of time they are using the app. That way you can keep track of exactly what they are doing within Samsung Kids. There are no ads or in-app purchases, so parents may rest assured that kids are only engaging with apps they trust.
For my youngest I like that the books can be read to her and for my oldest I like that she can read them herself. Each page also has interactive features where you touch a highlighted item and the story comes alive! There are so many videos and games as well that it would be impossible to play them all! It is easy to keep it all separate as you can create profiles for your children so they each have their own “log in” so they can each focus on their own stuff “separately.” Mine certainly appreciate having their own sections!
Samsung Kids collaborates with Fingerprint, a global mobile technology company that has been leading the rapidly growing kids’ mobile education and entertainment market since 2010, to offer an innovative, kid-friendly experience via the Samsung Kids service. Fingerprint expertly curates top content from brands and characters kids love including Highlights for Children, HiT Entertainment, National Geographic, Toca Boca, and many more! Big Sis especially loves the Reading Rainbow videos. Lil Sis loves the numbers games the most. Content is targeted at children ages 3 to 8 years old.
I can honestly say both my 5 and 8 year old daughters LOVE this tablet and subscription service! On our recent road trip to our beach get-a-way it was 5 hours each way and this handy device was a lifesaver! They love it so much that I even bring it in the house for them to enjoy on rainy days (which we are getting way too many of lately).
The Samsung Kids app is available for download on Galaxy phones and tablets via the Google Play store and Galaxy Apps store for $7.99 monthly or $59.99 yearly. As an an added bonus kids can keep the learning momentum going all school year too as it is more than just summer fun. Samsung Kids is truly a win/win for the whole family! They are entertained and I am given a tiny bit of peace when on our road trips. Travel sure is easier with Samsung Kids.
