I thought sharing one of my favorite meals, Steak Burrito Bowls, would be perfectly fitting for the occasion!
These steak burrito bowls are super tasty and even easier to whip together. They’re perfect for Cinco de Mayo gatherings because you can just set up a “burrito bar’ and let everyone add in whatever ingredients they want to their steak burrito bowls. I use?CHI-CHI’S Thick & Chunky salsa in my steak burrito bowls because I know the real tomatoes, vegetables, and flavorful seasonings they use to create it are all quality ingredients. CHI-CHI’S Mild Salsa Con Queso just happens to be one of my favorite pairings for tortilla chips too so it’s only natural that these steak burrito bowls include it!
Steak Burrito Bowls
- 1 lb steak, your choice of cut
- 1 package taco seasoning
- 2 cups prepared white or brown rice
- 1 can black beans
- 1/2 jar CHI-CHI’S? Brand Thick & Chunky Salsa ? Medium
- 1/2 jar CHI-CHI’S? Brand Salsa Con Queso
- 1/2 cup prepared guacamole
- 1/2 cup shredded blend of Colby and Monterrey jack cheese
- Sour cream
- CHI-CHI’S? Brand Authentic Tortilla Chips
- Cut steak into small cubes, brown and add taco seasoning, Finish according to package directions
- Cook rice, heat black beans and CHI-CHI’S? Brand Salsa Con Queso
- In a bowl layer 1/2 cup rice, black beans, CHI-CHI’S? Brand Thick & Chunky Salsa ? Medium, CHI-CHI’S? Brand Salsa Con Queso, guacamole and cheese, top with sour cream.
- Serve with CHI-CHI’S? Brand Authentic Tortilla Chips.
