Can you believe that we have never had family portraits done? My boys are 15 and 17 years old, and honestly, it’s just not something that we’ve ever thought about doing. Family photos just never crossed our minds and perhaps that’s got a lot to do with the fact that I happen to be a bit camera shy. All of us were a bit apprehensive at first because we’re basically just sort of shy but things changed the moment that we walked into Portrait Innovations. The entire staff was really upbeat and fun, providing the atmosphere for a really great photo shoot. In no time at all, our shyness faded and we were having fun, thanks to our great photographer.
It was really hard to get a good shot of the photos on our wall due to lighting. I tried several times during the day, and it just wasn’t cooperating so these photos don’t really do justice to the wonderful photos that Portrait Innovations captured of our family. We are beyond excited with the results and had such a hard time narrowing down our favorite poses!
I think our photographer took around 40 photos all together and from there, we narrowed it down to our favorite shot of each pose, then our favorite poses. In the end, we chose 6 poses as well as the 2 specialty sheets that are in the largest frames. She really did a stellar job capturing our family and even got some fun shots that really show our personalities!
I’m one of those people who tend to pay attention to things and I was really impressed with the selection of backgrounds and fun props that I saw inside the Portrait Innovations studio. They’ve definitely got all of the bases covered for people of all ages and I’ll even admit to having a little bit of baby fever when I saw the adorable props for babies and toddlers!
