Remi is a special kind of cat ad I feel like I mention that quite often when I talk about him, but it really is true. He is so loving and affectionate that you can’t help but love him back. That doesn’t just go for the humans either because Max, our 100 pound German Shepherd loves him to pieces too and he’s really growing on Bella, our puppy. Today I’m sharing all about what makes my cat happy and keeps him healthy.

What makes my cat happy?
When I think about what makes my cat happy, there are numerous things that come to mind. He loves attention and I swear, he thrives on it. He’ll come up and start rubbing against my leg, then start purring loudly when I pet him. He craves affection and is loving as can be. He likes to play and chasing balls is one of his favorite playful activities. Belly rubs are his weakness and he can never get enough of them. He’ll lay on the ground and roll back and forth, ensuring that you rub every little inch of his belly!
Food makes Remi happy too and he always comes running when he hears that bag start to shake. He’ll devour a bowl like there’s no tomorrow and if you mix some wet food in, he loves it even more!
What keeps him healthy?
Remi found a love for the outdoors a few years ago and ever since, he refuses to stay in the house. He’d much rather be outside so he stays out there quite often and pretty much just comes inside the house or garage when the temperatures drop or the rain starts to fall. But that means that there are extra steps that we need to take to ensure that he stays healthy.
He gets a flea and tick treatment once each month and we’re always checking him for signs of injuries. We also ensure that he’s eating enough and make sure to feed him plenty of food so that he doesn’t have to scavenge for food in the wild. His healthy diet starts with Wellness? Complete Health? food for cats. It’s a brand that I trust because their mission is to help our pets live a long, happy and healthy life through natural nutrition. The Wellness Complete Health line of food doesn’t contain fillers or artificial ingredients. Instead, they make superior food for animals by putting in a small number of ingredients that are simple, pure and authentic. Three new Grain Free options have recently been added to the Wellness Complete Health line too and have been specially formulated with vitamins and minerals for your cat’s optimal health needs. The new Grain Free flavors include Adult: deboned Chicken and Chicken Meal, Indoor: Salmon and Herring Meal, Kitten: Deboned Chicken and Chicken Meal. I’m sure you’ve heard the saying “You are what you eat” and that’s why it’s important for us pet owners to make good choices for our pets, since they surely can’t make them! That’s why you won’t find any corn, carrageenan, soy, wheat or artificial colors and flavors in Wellness Complete Health Grain Free cat foods.
