This particular Van der Hagen Shave Set is a hit with my Hubby. He can be pretty picky so I trust his opinion on this one. Since I am not a man I will give you the basics on how this all works. You place the shave soap in the mug and wet the brush with warm water and shake off the excess. Move the brush in a circular motion of the shave soap until lather forms and create as much lather as you like. The more water you add, the thinner the lather. Rinse the mug with warm water to clean and place the soap in the mug to dry.
As a premier bar soap manufacturer they use a process that involves the ingredients being added to a heated kettle, then cooled and packed by hand batch by batch. The soap is hypoallergenic and leaves the face feeling soft and smooth.
