It’s a digital world that we live in and a large number of people spend part or most of their day in front of a computer screen or a smartphone these days. The blue light from these screens can do a number on your eyes; causing dry eyes, light sensitivity and other ailments. I ended up with’some issues about a year ago and stopped wearing contacts for quite some time due to the sensitivity in my eyes. So if you’ve suffered like I have, keep on reading because I’ve partnered with Spectrum to share how their glasses might just be your light sensitivity solution.
What I love about?Spektrum?is that their 50% blocking glasses look just like ordinary glasses so you can wear them around the office and no one will even know they’re not regular prescription eyeglasses. There are multiple styles to choose from, with more options coming’soon. Each lens is made with polycarbonate material and offers the following features:
- UV Light Blocking
- Anti-Scratch
- Anti-Reflective
- Anti-Screen Flicker
- Anti-Glare
- Blue Light Reduction
- Anti-Fog
- Anti-Oil (Fingerprint Resistant)
- Electromagnetic Ray Blocking
I’ve been using my Spektrum Cateyes Glasses?while I sit at my desk ?and work for about a week now and the difference in my eyes is astounding. Prior to this week, I was constantly itching my eyes; to the point that they’d get red and start to hurt. But I just couldn’t get that itch to stop. Over the last 3 days, I haven’t experienced that and it’s such a wonderful feeling. It’s definitely something that you take notice of when it’s gone.
Rather than staring at a bright white screen while I work, the Spektrum glasses give it more of a soft white or almost light yellow color hue, which is much easier on my eyes. They are definitely a light sensitivity solution for me and a tool that I plan to continue using to make working on a computer easier on my eyes.
