The holiday season is one of my favorite times of year. ‘Tis the season to be jolly, as they say and we love to celebrate in many ways. Now that the kids are older, they help decorate the tree and the house. We bake cookies, make special treats and Big Bro loves to shop with me. We have many traditions and as a mom, I try my best to keep those alive every year.
One of my family’s holiday favorites that they have to have the minute it hits the shelves is Egg Nog. They just love the stuff and it never lasts longer than a day around here! They couldn’t wait to relax by the fireplace and indulge in a tasty glass of Kemps Golden Eggnog?after helping me with holiday decorations the other day.
The holidays are full of special flavors and treats that we wait around for all year and some of our other favorites include?candy canes and Kemps Snowmen Ice Cream Treats. I thought we’d really make things special so I grabbed some of those along with the ingredients to make their favorite candy cane milkshake recipe.
What I love about this Candy Cane Milkshake recipe is that it’s super simple, yet amazinglyly delicious.
Candy Cane Milkshake Recipe
Ingredients:
- 2 scoops Kemps Candy Cane Ice Cream
- 1/2 cup milk
- crushed candy canes
- whipped cream
- 2 maraschino cherries
1. To make the Candy Cane Milkshake recipe, start by crushing some candy canes. You can use one big candy cane?or a few mini candy canes. Pour the crushed candy canes on a plate, dip the rim of a glass in water, flip the glass upside down and coat the rim of the glass in crushed candy canes.
2. Combine the ice cream and milk in a blender and blend until creamy. Pour into glass, top with whipped cream and crushed candy canes. Garnish with maraschino cherries.
This festive winter treat is super delicious and a perfect way to indulge in your favorite treats this holiday season – ice cream and candy canes! You can find other delicious recipes from Kemps and also follow?Kemps on Facebook and @KempsCows on Twitter.
