Montgomery’s Anne of Green Gables brings to life the story of the determined, spirited little girl who touches the lives of everyone she meets. ?Ella Ballentine (Lunchbox Loser) stars as Anne, Sara Botsford (E.N.G.) as Marilla, and Martin Sheet (The West Wing) as Matthew.
The original Anne of Green Gables has always been my favorite PBS movie of all time. ?As a child I watched it every time it came on and I have continued the tradition with my children. ?Not only is this one of the best family movies I have ever seen it is also one of the best books to read -I love the remake of the?original Anne of Green Gables. ?If your children did not like the original version they are sure to love the remake with well known actors and actresses they will recognize from current productions. ?Martin Sheen has always been one of my favorite actors, he never has a bad performance.
L.M. Montgomery’s?Anne of Green Gables will be a DVD?you will cherish for years to come. ?This is just the beginning of a new series bringing an old classic back to life. ?They also have their Holiday Special available and are currently working on two more.
