SONIC is currently funding $1 million dollars? for classroom teacher projects across the country. From now through October 23rd SONIC fans and guests can help decide which projects receive funding by voting for projects in their community or their favorites at Limeades for Learning.
This is one charitable campaign that I can really get behind! My family loves to eat at SONIC and I love seeing companies helping out communities. I encourage everyone to vote and help SONIC kick off this annual charitable campaign.
The voting campaign comes on the heels of the brand’s renewed commitment to Limeades for Learning, transitioning from a seasonal to year-round campaign and announcing significantly increased financial support of $15 million over the next five years. Since launching their partnership with SONIC in 2009, Limeades for Learning engaged citizen philanthropists to make a difference in their communities coast to coast. To date, SONIC‘s gift of $6 million dollars to public school classrooms across the country has helped 11,500 teachers and 349,920 students,? says Charles Best, founder and chief executive officer at DonorsChoose.org.
Next time you head over to SONIC I highly suggest trying the Fiery Ultimate Chicken Sandwich which I found delicious. My husband tried the Fiery Cheeseburger and he really enjoyed that one. I am also a really big fan of their crispy onion rings!
