Living in the sunshine state and spending a ton of time outside means everyone in the family wears sunglasses. It is just a part of our routine when going outside. I am also picky about the sunglasses my family uses and Real Shades is a brand I LOVE. They have protective yet still stylish sunglasses for babies, kids, teens & adults.
They started out as Real Kids Shades but they have since expanded to the whole family. Their promise is simple. Offer affordable, premium quality, 100% UV protective sunglasses and manufacture them using the most durable materials available so they will last.
They offer different children’s sizing: babies, toddlers, kids, youth and young adult. The youth are for ages 7+ and my 7 year old daughter is the one wearing them in the pictures. This particular pair is the Adventure – Youth – 7+ – P2 Polarized Lens. Kids can go on any adventure with these sunglasses! A wrap around frame minimizes exposure to peripheral light while the soft, adjustable strap ensures these glasses will be comfortable and stay put. I especially like the strap since my daughter is constantly taking hers on and off based on what she is doing at the moment and this way she can let them dangle from her neck for a few minutes then put them right back on. Especially helps when we are jet-skiing or some other high speed fun as the strap helps them to stay on. A complete win for me.
