I’m a huge fan of brunch because it’s the perfect combination of breakfast and lunch, where no one is expected to rise early. In fact, it was at my wedding shower (and then my sister’s) where I really got into the idea of brunch and even suggested that we celebrate Mother’s Day with a brunch last year. I’m excited to share some of my simple brunch ideas with you, in partnership with Bahlsen Cookies!
Simple Brunch Ideas
Simplicity is key when it comes to brunch so don’t overdo it. Here are some simple, no fuss menu ideas.
- Fresh fruit – Strawberries, grapes, cantaloupe etc. You really can’t go wrong with fruit! I suggest putting together a nice platter. You could even make it fancy by lining blueberries as a separation barrier between each type of fruit.
- Mini bagels – ?They’re simple and delicious, yet perfectly bite size!
- Strawberry cream cheese – It’ll serve a dual purpose, spread for bagels and dip for fruit!
- Cookies – They’re perfect for brunch and?Bahlsen Cookies are idea with their fruit and chocolate varieties!
- Orange juice – Good ole’ OJ, it’s a juice but also?filling!
If you want to get a little more elaborate, you could make a quiche or breakfast casserole, grab some donuts and milk or serve some bacon and sausage as well. These Cheesy Bacon Breakfast Muffins are a great brunch idea too!
Not only are Bahlsen Cookies, a sweet and tasty addition to the brunch buffet, they contain all natural ingredients and don’t contain hydrogenated oils, trans fats, added preservatives or artificial flavors or colors. There are lots of delicious flavors to choose from including Waffeletten, Choco Leibniz, First Class, Blueberry and Strawberry Deloba flavors and even Bahlsen Minis. There’s something for everyone and my family really enjoyed the Blueberry Delobas, Waffelettens and Waffle Minis that were included in our?weekend brunch buffet.
