With only a few weeks of school left my mind is already thinking about Summer. We are all ready for some lazy days but of course that does not mean sitting around all day watching television! Family Games America has a MASSIVE selection of games and toys that are perfect to keep your kids occupied using no electronics this summer.
Their Little Moppet line is perfect for aspiring gardeners. Little Moppet planting kits start flowers, veggies and children’s imaginations growing! The tools are made to accommodate small hands, plant the seed of fun by having them sow and maintain their very own garden. The Garden Tool Belt?keeps the hand trowel, hand fork and polka-dot garden gloves within reach. Available in red & green and blue & green.
They have a very large selection of small games….that are especially great for travel. Put several in a bag for those long summer road trips and pull them out one by one and several can be played as a family!
Remember these little picture puzzles from your youth? I certainly do and I was never really good at them. My kids had never even seen one before! This one has a really neat beach theme. Just move the pieces around to try and put it back together again. No pieces to lose as it is self-contained.
They even have amazing glow-in-the-dark sets which also remind me of my youth! These counting sheep are adorable and now all over Big Sis’s room. Of course they need the “charge” of a flashlight to get super bright but they still put off a faint glow every night just from the natural light charge.
Are We There Yet? is the fun car game the whole family (except the driver of course) can play. This small little car bag includes playing cards for an amazing game of eye-spy. Each person is given 5 cards and you have to find those items. There are rules for switching out for new cards and for winning. Even I really enjoy playing this game!
Tantrix is a discovery puzzle that needs a little bit of thinking. It is listed for ages 8+ but my 7.5 year old had a good time playing it. It is a single player logic game.
Family Games America has so much more than just these items. You can literally get lost browsing their website! Have a great summer and with these items and more you can keep it is as electronic free as possible!
