I am excited and a little sad at the same time to announce the eighth and final installment of the exciting Alien in my Pocket chapter book series. Zack and Amp battle alien invaders from Amp’s own planet in Alien in My Pocket #8: Space Invaders by Nate Ball and illustrated by Macky Pamintuan. Such a fun series for kids ages 6 – 10! I love reading a new book but reading the last one makes me sad! I just can’t believe it is over!
It’s the thrilling conclusion to the Alien in My Pocket series! With a page-turning plot, plenty of fun science facts, illustrations throughout, and a do-it-yourself, hands-on experiment at the end, this is an appealing chapter book series for young readers. And it’s all from the amazing brain of MIT graduate Nate Ball, host of PBS’s Emmy Award?winning Design Squad series.
Zack has grown fond of his troublesome buddy, Amp, since the four-inch-tall alien crash-landed his spaceship through Zack’s bedroom window. They?ve gotten into more than their fair share of trouble together, but they?ve always invented a way out of it. Until a fleet of ships from Amp’s home planet filled the sky and started firing its weapons. Zack and Amp have to do the thing most kids only dare imagine’save the world!

A fabulous chapter book for new readers and includes black and white illustrations scattered throughout. A great final book for what was a really awesome series. A series that makes science cool! Fun books you should read from the beginning and each one includes a do-it-yourself- science experiment at the end. An especially great series for boys, reluctant readers and any lover of aliens!
