For me, there’s no sweeter treat that delicious fresh fruit and I am so excited that my favorites are becoming more available fresh in store. I’m really excited to have teamed up with Turbana for one of my favorite, yet better for you, ice cream treats – Tropical Twist Sundae!
This Tropical Twist Sundae will not only tantalize your taste buds, but it will surely please a crowd too! Loaded with delicious pieces of Turbana Bananas, chunks of juicy Fyffes Pineapple and walnut pieces atop a bed of vanilla ice cream, this tasty treat really gets me in the season of sunshine spirit!
Tropical Twist Sundae
Ingredients:
- 1?Turbana Banana – sliced
- 1/2 cup Fyffes Pineapple – cut into small chunks
- 1 scoop vanilla ice cream
- 1 tbsp chopped walnut pieces
The?Tropical Twist Sundae is super easy to make. Just fill an ice cream dish with a scoop of vanilla ice cream, then top with Turbana Banana slices, Fyffes Pineapple chunks and walnut.
Then eat and enjoy!
Sendik’s 90th Anniversary Event!
Calling all my fellow cheese heads – Sendik’s is celebrating 90 years and they’re kicking it off with a special event this weekend in Milwaukee area stores! Between April 29 – May 1st,?Turbanan and Fyffes will be doing in-store demonstrations making Turbana Tropical Twist Sundaes for visitors to taste!
The in-store demonstrations will take place on the following dates and times at these?locations:
- 4/29: Franklin and Greenfield – 10am – 1pm and 3pm – 6pm
- 4/30: Hartland and Brookfield (Lilly Road) – 10am – 1pm and 3pm – 6pm
- 5/1: Grafton and Germantown – 10am – 1pm and 3pm – 6pm
You could definitely put your own spin?on this Tropical Twist Sundae by adding in other fruits like strawberries, blueberries and raspberries. Perhaps some graham crackers and a little bit of almond butter drizzled on top would be tasty too!
A sundae bar would be super fun for the summertime. What toppings would you line up?

I would add a strawberry sauce to this too or it could have greek yogurt instead of ice cream for a healthy breakfast.
