This post has been written in partnership with ToysRUs. Opinions are of my own.
Playtime is fundamental in child development. In fact, children?actually learn through play and while many may not think kids are learning while they’re playing, they most definitely are. While playing, children learn to think, they often learn to share and they also learn fine motor skills. Playtime is also good for a child’s social, emotional and physical well-being.
But sadly, there are kids living in poverty right here in the US who miss out on playtime because their families don’t have the resources or knowledge on how important play time actually is. The video below shares some great stories from some of those families. Feel free to share it using #PlayWithPurpose and tagging @Toysrus on your social channels.
