I love to save a buck when I can and with gas prices nearing what they were when I first started driving 19 years ago, I’m definitely loving the savings at the pump. But now I can save even more thanks to the Fuel Rewards program that I just joined!
Fuel Rewards is a loyalty program through Shell stations that not only rewards your gas purchases, but other purchases as well. Some of the ways to rack up savings include:
- Dining at restaurants – You have the ability to link a credit card to your account and when you make qualifying purchases at one of the 10,000 participating restaurants using that linked card, you’ll earn 10?/gal per $50 spent.
- Shop your favorite stores online – Start your shopping at www.fuelrewards.com and click through to merchant partners to earn 5 cents per gallon for every $50 spent. Some of the retailers offer double and triple rewards so you could potentially save even more!
- Card linked offers – Some retailers such as JCPenney and Clarks?have card linked offers and you could earn at least 5 cents off per gallon for every $50 spent in qualifying purchases.
- Buying groceries – Participating grocery stores offer rewards, which vary by grocer.
- Booking through through www.fuelrewards.com (powered by Priceline) – Earn 5 cents per gallon on qualifying purchases on $50 or more when it comes to booking flights, hotels, car rentals or vacation packages
With Fuel Rewards, every day purchases can save you money and there’s no limit to the amount that you can earn. One Fuel Rewards member ended up paying just 19 cents for 20 gallons of fuel!
You can sign up for Fuel Rewards through June 5th and save 25 cents per gallon on your first fill up. From there, you’ll save 3 cents per gallon each time you fill up your tank and make qualifying purchases elsewhere. You can even download the Fuel Rewards Mobile app to help you earn and redeem rewards while on the go.
