Reading right before bed is by far our most popular time to read. It is a part of our daily routine and helps calm them down after a busy day of play. You can start the practice of mindful meditation with your child as they yawn their way through Can You Yawn Like a Fawn? with soothing scenes and calming language that prompt deep breathing and sleepy thoughts. Yawning is a natural and contagious act that prompts deep breathing and calmness.? This suggestive, tranquil repetition will have your child sleepy and snug as the story comes to an end. From yawning like a fluffy lamb to getting snuggly like a kangaroo, bedtime reading will be a loving, relaxing way for your little one to settle into dreamland.
This book would have been especially nice for me when mine were really little and we were just starting on our bedtime routines. The story is cute and the illustrations are cute making this a super cute book for little ones. It is listed for ages 3-6 but I think it has an even broader range as it is a book that most kids ages 1-8 can relate to. Can You Yawn Like A Fawn? is a fabulous book which provides an easy and fun way for you to add mediation to bedtime.
