As many of our regular readers know, our animals [especially the dogs] are a pretty big part of this blog. I’m often sharing stories about them and sharing their cuteness with the world. But our love for animals doesn’t stop at home. We’re an animal loving family and since it’s the season of giving, we’ve got our local shelters in our hearts and on our minds. I am’super excited to partner with Tractor Supply Co.? this holiday season to help out our local dog rescue shelter.
Hubby and I stopped in?Tractor Supply Co.? this weekend while we were doing our holiday shopping and I was surprised at how large their pet section is.?Tractor Supply Co.? is so much more than your local farm store! In fact, when it comes to rural lifestyle stores,?Tractor Supply Co.? is the largest operator int he US, with 1,450 retail stores in 49 states. They offer all sorts of things like men and women’s work wear, power tools, lawn and garden supplies [and riding mowers], pet supplies and so much more. It’s a pretty neat store that my husband and I enjoy browsing around. I also just learned that leashed pets of all types are welcome in store, except for FL where it’s illegal.
We found some really great stuff for our local rescue at Tractor Supply Co.? and were especially fond of their 4Health brand because of its great quality and reasonable pricing. It’s made in the USA and offers high quality and grain free formulas. Of course you’ll find other great ideas to throw in a gift basket such as toys, treats, beds, training devices, flea preventatives and so much more too. They even offer low cost walk-in clinics.
Tractor Supply Co.? is a huge supporter of animal rescues and awards $25,000 in grants to 10 deserving organizations each year. They’re also partnering with DogforDog by selling their Dog Butter and treats in store, which a donation is made to a shelter by DogforDog with any of their product purchases at?Tractor Supply Co.?.
In the warmer months, we often see the parking lot at?Tractor Supply Co.? full of people and pets. We wondered what was going on the first time we noticed that, so curiosity got the best of us and we stopped in and were pleasantly surprised to find out that a pet adoption event was going on. Come to find out, they often make their stores available for adoption events and fundraisers – how wonderful! The funny thing is, while I was searching for the address for Hoover Hause?[the shelter we donated to], I came across information about them hosting monthly adoption events at?Tractor Supply Co.?! Well I guess we chose the right place to donate some goodies to!
