I am a really big fan of Aurorae, an active lifestyle e-retailer who sells some of the best yoga mats, fitness products and outdoor accessories around. My yoga mat and my daughter’s swim towel are both Aurorae and we use them all the time. I have been using them for months and months and they still look and work great. Aurorae recently launched a new fitness division and now sells a Resistance Bands Set complete with padded handles, a door anchor, an ankle strap, a detailed guide book and a carrying case. Resistance Bands are great for stretching and strengthening muscles and you can use them in the comfort of your own home.
During the Christmas season as a mom and blogger I am at my busiest so I will admit that I have only been going to the gym to workout once a week (and it is during my daughter’s diving lesson). That means I have to make up that lost workout time by working out at home. These resistance bands are PERFECT for even beginners like myself.
The padded handles are really nice and it feels not only comfortable but sturdy in my hands like it is meant to really last.

- Yellow 2-4 lbs.
- Blue 4-6 lbs.
- Green 10-12 lbs.
- Black 15-20 lbs.
- Red 25-30 lbs.
The guidebook is small but includes a ton of basic workouts and stretches that work for novices through experts since you can change out the band level and adjust the workout to your needs. The door anchor is extremely sturdy and you slip it between the frame and door when it is open and the gap is the widest then you close the door all the way before using it.
My family has recently started camping and these resistance bands are small enough to pack up and take with me without taking up much space yet they still offer as a great workout I can do right in my campsite. They are versatile and the overall quality I have come to expect with Aurorae. They are a family run company that works hard to ensure you like their products and it really shows. These resistance bands are an incredibly great buy for the price!
