Pizza is one of my favorite things to eat. What I think I love most is that you can switch it up with different toppings?and make your pizza as unique as you are.?I’ve been eyeing these new DiGiorno Pizzeria! Thin pizzas lately when I’m at the grocery store and thought I’d give it a try. DiGiorno pizzas are made with 100% real cheese, premium meats and crisp vegetables picked at the peak of ripeness.
Many people don’t get the proper nutrition they need. In fact, Americans only meet the U.S. Dietary Guidelines for proper nutrition?7 days out of a year! But paired with a side of veggies or fruit, you can create?a balanced, nutritious meal with a prepared pizza. To sweeten the deal and make my pizza even more nutritious, I decided to add some more veggies to it as well!
I loaded my pizza up with fresh mushrooms, then added some canned olives, artichoke hearts and red peppers. I threw on a little bit of extra mozzarella cheese to help set the toppings in, then plopped that baby on my Pizzazz oven to give it the best flavor possible.
While the pizza was cooking, I made a simple salad with romaine lettuce, cucumbers, mushrooms and just a pinch of cheese. I lightly tossed it in a bowl and laid it on top of a romaine lettuce leaf bed. Once the pizza was fully cooked, I sliced it and added a piece to my plate. I couldn’t wait to dig in!
After one bite of the?DiGiorno Pizzeria! Thin pizza, I was smitten. It was so delicious and is now my favorite prepared pizza. The salad paired perfectly with it and the?Veggie Loaded Pizza and Salad was by far?the tastiest lunch I’d prepared in awhile!
