At ages 4 and 7 my girls are constantly telling me they are “big girls” and that they can do things for themselves. I have to remind myself to take a step back and allow them to grow. The HipCity Sak is the super cute, hands-free bag for little?girls on-the-go. It helps them to carry their own small items in a super fun and easy way (the bonus is mom won’t have to carry it). These bags help give girls some independence as they carry their own “treasures” in a way they can also express themselves.
The 6″ X 6″ interchangeable bag is capable of holding up to 8 oz of fun! The 22″ inch expandable elastic belt fits the average size 5 to 9. My daughters here are size 4 and 8 and it fits them both great. For Lil Sis it fits a tiny bit loose but it doesn’t affect her using it at all. The 100% polyurethane shell can be hand wiped clean with a soft cloth. It is hard to tell in the picture but the bag itself is actually super soft.
You can also purchase extra accessories for when your child doesn’t need a bag that day she can snap on a cute accessory and wear it like a belt. Everything is interchangeable with easy to use snaps.
They can easily fit a nice selection of goodies in their bags. My girls almost always have some lip gloss and little pads of paper and a pencil in theirs. They also have been known to carry around snacks or with my youngest she likes to tote around little cars and dinosaurs in it.
I really like that the HipCity Sak is mom-created. She saw a need for an adorable bag that could be easily carried by little girls and she made it happen! Unlike purses these don’t just “fall off” or get left behind since they stay on your child. The most important part is that both my girls LOVE them. It takes them a few minutes to select what they will be bringing with them on any particular day and if it doesn’t fit in the bag it doesn’t come with us. It is up to them to decide what is important enough to take around for the day and then they wear their bags proudly. I like that these bags give them a little bit of independence and I like that I am not carrying their stuff around for them all day long. These would make super cute gifts for the holidays and it is an item that would actually get used.
