The Magic School Bus DVD series is based on the book series by Joanna Cole and Bruce Degen. My family and I have been reading the series as well as watching it on DVD.? We love The Magic School Bus.? Ms. Frizzle is always taking her class on fun adventures. Just when you think your children are not listening to you they surprise you by answering all your questions after the videos.? Even my five-year-old daughter can explain in detail what the adventures were about.? Ms. Frizzle makes learning fun and with all the adventures there is never a dull moment.? The videos are action packed transforming the bus and the students to suit each adventure.
The series is engaging enough for a two-year-old and entertaining enough for a ten-year-old. The best part about this DVD series is that it is totally educational!? Who wouldn?t want to encourage their child to learn more about science?

My daughter really enjoyed Gains Weight best because Phoebe gets asked to play basketball. She doesn?t want to participate, but when Ms. Frizzle takes them on a field trip to learn about gravity she changes her mind.? Phoebe does not have enough confidence to play basketball with the big kids, but in the end she surprises herself and makes a basket.? Not only does The Magic School Bus teach your children about science, but also good values.? The students are always helping and encouraging each other. This 2-DVD set is jammed packed with 13 fun episodes of adventures with the Friz.? If you want to encourage more learning they also have books, Leap Frog games, Nintendo DS games, board games and experiments.
