Reading is one of my all time favorite activities and every month I am eager to see what new titles are released so I can read them to my girls. This month as part of the Book Buddies campaign at Parragon I am here to review The Fairy Tales of Hans Christian Anderson for some classic bedtime reading and Professor Murphy’s Metal Puzzles: Over 30 Brain-Busting Teasers! for those that like a fun challenge.

This book includes 30 brain teasers and includes 6 sets of metal puzzles. The book and the puzzles are small and simple so it is great for kids learning them for the very first time. Give it your best go at the Looper, Trigon, Helix, Sun and Moon, Double 8 and Big Bang. I am terrible at these kinds of puzzles but my husband and 7 year old daughter love them.
The holidays are not far off and these would make great gifts. You can never go wrong giving a book as a gift just try to stay in the right age range for the reader.
