I love anything pumpkin – from drinks, baked goods, and of course, decor. I’ve been trying to get some more fall and Halloween?decor up in our house and decided to buy some pumpkins today.?I also have a serious love of glitter so I decided to combine the two and create some DIY Glitter Pumpkins.
This is honestly so easy and way better than scooping all of the goo out of a pumpkin. All you need is fine glitter,’spray adhesive, and of course, pumpkins. I decided I wanted designs on mine so I had some circle stickers that you’d use to put on items at a garage sale?and I picked up some chevron Frog Tape.
If creating a design, tape up your pumpkins first. I didn’t want the stems to have?glitter on them so I put painters tape on them.
Shake the can of adhesive and spray away. Make sure you’re doing it in a well-ventilated area. Once you’ve sprayed the pumpkin, pour on the glitter!
Do the glittering over a newspaper ‘so you can fold the paper up and pour the excess glitter back into the container. After you’re done glittering, remove the tape or stickers and you’re all done.
I’m so happy with how these turned out. They’re perfect to keep around for the entire fall season and I hope they stay good long enough to become a Thanksgiving centerpiece. Happy crafting!
