I love card games and I am always looking for fun new ones to share with my family. Clumsy Thief really is the crazy, fast-paced money game that is a lot of fun. Kids are so busy playing and laughing that they have no idea they are learning math skills at the same time.
Clumsy Thief is for ages 8+ and for 2-6 players. I personally think the more players the more fun this game is. The game comes with 94 cards and adorable packaging.
The way to play is for players to make $100 money stacks from their dealt cards. What makes it fast-paced is that you can then steal a stack from an opponent by equaling $100 when adding a card to the top card of a stack. Use a thief card to steal money cards and jail cards to stop thief cards. Everyone is doing this all at once so pay attention! When it is all over the player who has the most money wins.
This game has strategy, addition skills and a bit of luck. This game definitely brings out a healthy does of competition! Some of our games lasted 5 minutes while our longest lasted 15 minutes so it is a great quick game. You can purchase Clumsy Thief from Amazon and from Marbles The Brain Store.
