I was sent on an all inclusive trip to Azul Beach in Riviera Maya to facilitate my experience. Opinions are of my own.
When going on vacation, many people don’t always think of?budgeting food into their trip. That’s why I’m a fan of all inclusive features in my stay – where the food is already factored in and covered in the vacation cost. One of the many great things about Azul Beach by Karisma is that they have a Gourmet Inclusive experience that starts from the moment you step into the beautiful Riviera Maya resort; with a welcoming glass of champagne for the adults and “Slime” smoothies for the kids.
Azul Beach boasts 5 restaurants that guests can dine in – Blue, Chil, Latino, Tainan and Roma. The chefs in each restaurant prepare delicious meals, served with style.

During my stay at Azul Beach, my colleagues and I had the pleasure of touring the resort and sampling tasty items from each restaurant’s menu. I enjoyed tasting all of the different cuisines and experiencing foods that I otherwise might not have tried.
From appetizers, main courses and desserts, all of the food offered at Azul Beach is nothing short of amazing. From picture perfect plating to recipes that will tantalize your taste buds, the dining experience alone is enough to understand why this resort was given the AAA Four Diamond Award.
Azul Beach caters to their guests in many wonderful ways so if you’d rather stay in and dine, you have the freedom to order room service 24 hours a day. Each room is also equipped with a mini bar that is stocked daily with bottled water, soft drinks, beer and snacks. Bringing a baby on your trip? You don’t even have to consider backing baby food because?Gerber baby food is available?from room service, as well as in all of the resort’s restaurants!
The Gourmet Inclusive experience doesn’t stop with food. All of your beverages are included with your stay and I had the pleasure of trying some of the tastiest cocktails during my visit. I became rather fond of the Miami Vice and it’s currently my choice for a beach cocktail. Make sure you order at least one while you’re there – you’ll love it!
You can enjoy “adult time” at one of the four bars within the resort.?I enjoyed the Aquanox Bar which offers a gorgeous view of the Caribbean Sea and hanging beds for guests to relax in. The Bubbles Swim Up Bar was a refreshing treat just outside of my suite and Chil Bar is open from noon to 5pm.
The Agavero Tequila Lounge boasts the only frozen bar top in Riviera Maya and was designed to keep drinks chilled at all times. There are over 30 different tequilas to choose from at Agavero and they even offer Tequila Tasting as one of the resort’s activities.
If you’re trying to soak up the sun on the beach, you can still enjoy the Gourmet Inclusive experience by reserving a beach cabana or hanging?bed. Your beach butler will bring you anything you’d like to eat or drink to make your time on the beach the most enjoyable.
