This post was written in partnership with Who Has the Kids? All opinions are of my own.

I have two kids and between them and my husband’s schedule we all keep super busy. I live 2 blocks from my parents and they help a lot when it comes to getting my girls to their events and even helping watch my youngest while I am toting my oldest all over town. I have never kept it all written down in a calendar or schedule even though I should and I am the type that is normally very organized. Instead I am calling around to my husband or the grandparents every week reminding everyone who is doing what this week and it gets hectic. A much better way for us all to stay organized is with the shared family calendar app, Who Has the Kids?

This super easy to use calendar app takes the confusion out of running a busy household. You can add multiple caretakers (husband, wife, grandparents, babysitters, etc.), make events for kids’ activities, and assign who’s in charge of picking up and dropping off. You can also make “to do lists” for chores and errands, and assign those as well. What really makes this app so great is if your schedule changes mid-day, you can hand off a task to another caretaker.
Very easy to add kids and you can even add a picture or use an avatar. Then you add caregivers while also controlling the settings.
Then start putting in appointments, events, practices and even make a to-do list. Both my girls are in soccer and gymnastics and my oldest is also in diving. I also am a Girl Scout leader so I put in those because my mother watches my youngest during those meetings. I even added in times my oldest is at day camp to keep track of who is dropping her off and picking her up each day.
I really like the alerts and even the 2nd alert I can set. I can get busy during the day (also the occasional nap) so it is nice to have these alerts on.
If something changes then you use Hand-Off to alert the people that will be affected by the change.
The to-do feature is a nice little bonus. I love to-do lists and this one is always with me on my phone so it is much better than little pieces of paper all over my desk.
I always have things that need to get done and with this app I get a silly bit of satisfaction every time I check mark that I got something done.
The creators of the app are two parents with four kids and they wanted an easier and better way to manage their daily lives. I certainly wasn’t organizing things well for my family and my girls will only get more busy as they get older. This app is exactly what I needed! Even my mom who can be technology challenged is able to use the app. The app is FREE and available for both Android and iPhone from iTunes?or Google Play. This app is perfect to get everyone organized before the busy school year starts.
