It’s always nice to find activities to help keep the kids busy during their summer vacation. While I love them being home, I hate when they get restless and bored…thankfully they’re not at the stage where they are constantly coming to me saying, “MOM, we’re bored!” I’m sure it will come sooner than later and honestly I am thankful for companies like Great Pretenders!
They have a wide range of colour costumes that will keep the kids busy for a good while…such as the Colour An Apron and the Spider Super-Hero Cape pictured above.
Julia just recently found coloring to be fun, so I wasn’t sure how she would do. I wasn’t sure if she’d just scribble the heck out of it, or actually color in the lines. She did such an amazing job and it kept her busy all afternoon.
Now Carter loved his so much and he really impressed me with his coloring technique. He was very serious about how he colored his and I thought it was so much fun watching him get so excited about his!
The Spider Super-Hero cape is reversible. The one side is the colored area and the other side is a red and black spider web. I’m also really impressed about how durable this cape really is…it’s really thick and trust me…he has put this to the test and it surely holds up!
Julia did amazing! She wears it when she helps me cook and you can tell just from the photo how proud she is of her beautiful work!
I’m a mom who feels coloring and crafts are so important for a childs growth. These Colour Costumes help in so many different ways…when they’re done crafting them, they can then use their imagination and really pretend to be in their imaginary world!
They also have these great costumes for boys and these ones for girls!
