Summer has been nice but I have no problem admitting that I like that my daughter enjoys hitting up a few day camp sessions throughout the break. She loves getting out and trying something new and I like having a small break from our repetitive days at home together. For the full days I have to pack her a lunch and 2 snacks and for her half day camps I only pack her a snack. Either way it requires some prep work on my part but I actually enjoy packing lunches with Planetbox. They are stainless steel, bento style lunchboxes with compartment dividers.

PlanetBox makes it so that it is easier for me to pack a well-balanced meal quickly and easily. The segmented containers simplify packing, encourage healthy eating and portion control, reduce waste, and keep food fresh and contained for camp. Of course my girls love the changeable, customizable magnets, which allow them to show off their summer style!
PlanetBox is available in three sizes and the pictures here of mine are of the smallest size, the Shuttle. It has two compartments and also comes with a tall dipper for things like….well…dip. I gently wipe the magnets down and put them on the fridge and the awesome part about the tray is that it is dishwasher safe! You can also purchase a cold sleeve separately which is a sleeve and ice pack that slips into the carrying case to keep things cold. I find this size is perfect for younger kids as a full size lunch or perfect to pack a snack for older kids.
For size comparison here is my 3.5 year old holding the shuttle sized Planetbox. It may be their smallest size but it still holds a lot of food!
I use to hate packing lunches but a fun lunch box makes things more exciting…even for me. My daughters both loves this lunch box and I like how bright and colorful the carry case is because hopefully that means it won’t get left behind (which I will admit is something I worry about). These lunch boxes are fun, “green” or best of all easy to use and pack. Even though it is summer it is still my job to provide healthy yet tasty lunches for my girls! Make sure to check out the Meal Planner app from Planetbox for some great lunch making suggestions.
