I received a sample for my review. All opinions are my own.
Summer is here, and although it’s hot, I try to get my son and I some time outdoors every morning to burn off some energy. I have a very active 3 1/2 year old that just loves to move. He’s been asking for a scooter for a long time, but I hadn’t found one that I felt was appropriate for him.?I’ve looked at some of the scooters meant for younger kids, but I wanted something that would grow with him while still being easy to use. As soon as I saw the 3-wheeled Globber scooters, I knew I had found the right one for him.
With a steering lock button, adjustable handlebars and low foot rest, the Globber 3-Wheel Scooter is designed for the youngest riders.
– Secure Direction Button Lock makes it easy to learn by locking the steering to increase balance
– Adjustable handlebar to enable maximum comfort and accommodate children of various heights
– Each deck comes reinforced with a steel plate to increase the weight capacity
– Low deck clearance from the ground maximizes stability
– Long rear brake covers the entire rear wheel for more efficient braking
– Super high rebound clear PU wheels with ABEC 5 bearings
– Approved for up to 110 lbs
– Ages 3 years old +
Assembly was really easy. All you have to do is put the handle into the scooter base and it’s ready to go.
The handlebar can adjust to different heights. The scooter comes with a tool for this and you simply loosen the bolt, pull up or down to the height you want, and tighten it back up.
I really like the steering lock feature, especially for young riders like my son. Initially I let him try it with the steering on, but I ended up locking the steering for him. Since he’s just learning how to ride a scooter, it’s easier for him to go in a straight line than to worry about leaning left or right to turn. Once he’s a little older and has the hang of it, I’ll let him try with the steering.
Riding is a breeze on the Globber scooters and my son picked up on it right away. It’s lightweight and not bulky, making it easier for him to maneuver and get the hang of riding. ?The 3-wheeled scooters come in a variety of colors – blue, red, yellow, green, pink, and purple – and can come in just the single color or in two colors. They also make 2-wheeled scooters which are great for ages 5 and up.
Globber scooters are the perfect way to have some fun and get outside. I even get in some more daily exercise by walking with my son while he scoots along. I’m so glad he finally has a scooter that is just perfect for him that has some great features as well. This is sure to last us for many summers to come.
