Last week, I shared all about the LEGO? Americana Roadshow hitting Milwaukee. Well it’s here and Lil Man and I went to check it out on Wednesday. You absolutely have to go if you’re in the area. It’s inside the mall, totally free and it’s awesome – so much more than I had expected!
TheLEGO Americana Roadshow?is at?Mayfair Mall through?June 28 and guests can view?large replicas of?featured United States landmarks throughout the mall. I was absolutely in awe of the Statue of Liberty and it definitely rocks this show. The replica is huge and so life-like, down to the text on the book. Each and every piece of her is made out ofLEGO blocks.
But Lady Liberty is not the only star of the show – not by a long shot. The?U.S. Capitol Building is right in center court and just look at the mass of that thing compared to my not so?Lil Man – insane!
It is absolutely breathtaking and the detail is so precise. It’s hard to image this was made fromLEGO blocks!
I was pleasantly surprised when we walked upstairs and I looked down upon it. It is just so beautiful!
You’ll spot these signs next to each?United States landmark replica and they tell the story behind that particular landmark. Here’s a woman telling her son all about The U.S. Supreme Court. That’s what’s so great about theLEGO Americana Roadshow because it gives you a great learning experience?along with the awesome visual aspects.
In addition to all of the?United States landmarks featured in theLEGO Americana Roadshow, you’ll find smaller displays throughout the mall and even in store windows. Below is a city, complete with LEGO people, cares and even a super hero. Check out the tunnels when you find this city too because there’s a surprise waiting to come out of one!
You’ll find a rocket launch display, Miller Park and so much more. There is even an area for kids to experienceLEGO hands on. They can play withLEGO blocks and even build a car to race down the track.
The LEGO? Americana Roadshow is definitely something that the entire family can enjoy together. Grab the?kids, maybe a cousin or two and even the grandparents and head out to Mayfair mall for a day full of learning, adventure and fun during theLEGO Americana Roadshow. Don’t forget to stop in theLEGO store before you leave so you can build something epic!
