I absolutely love to spend a nice and sunny day outside as we are definitely an active family. When it comes to sun protection I am super pro-active with sunblock and proper swim attire every single time. I am a believer that you can’t be too cautious. Sun Protection Zone is an amazing company that sells sun protective clothing and accessories. Their new sunburn alert line has designs that change colors in the sun as a reminder to put on sunblock.
Using special UV ignite ink the designs are one color in the shade and a fun and exciting new color in the sun. They are rated 100 SPF / UPF 50+ giving the ultimate in sun protection! Please note the blue stripes in the picture is her bathing suit underneath and not the rash guard. The flowers were white before they hit the sun.
The shirts offer plenty of stretch so no problems putting them over my daughters’ heads and they run true to size. My youngest moves from playing in the shade to swimming in the sun pretty quick and the colors change pretty quick with her. Here in the shade you can see the design is pink and white.
In the sun it is a gorgeous purple and pink. Super adorable and a reminder for mom and dad to put on more sunscreen on everybody.
The back of the shirts are a solid color. You can see the hat from this line has a barely visible flower print on the brim.
In the sun the flowers turn bright purple. Super adorable! The hats have a chin strap which I absolutely love so when we are boating no hats fly away. It even has a bungee strap to tighten it to the head as well.
My girls are great with wearing rash guards and hats since it is part of our play outside routine but now they like to grab these first since they enjoy watching the colors change. I just love everything about this line and I could always use a reminder to re-apply sunblock! Cute and functional which is exactly what moms need for their kids for sun protection. I have been using their stuff from previous lines for the past year and they still look like new. Their quality gear is sun protective clothing at its finest.
