As a mom, I look forward to Mother’s Day each and every year. It’s the one day a year that is all about me and let’s face it, moms deserve a special day like this! Since we won’t be in town to celebrate Mother’s Day with our own mothers this year, I wanted to do something extra special for my mom and mother in law. I took my mom shopping about a week ago so that she could pick out her own gifts, but I also wanted to do flowers for both of our moms; so I planted some flowers one gorgeous pot of flowers for each of them!
Since we won’t be home to celebrate with our moms, I wanted to be sure that we could not only get in touch with them both, but send them photos as well. Big Bro and I decided to pick up the ZTE Zinger smartphone and sign up for Walmart Family Mobile service because it’s one of the lowest priced unlimited plans that I’ve found.
For just $29.88 per month, we get Unlimited Talk, Text & Data. As if that wasn’t enough, we’re lucky enough to get 1G 4G LTE data service in our area score! What I really like about the Walmart Family Mobile service is that we can use an existing phone number and add additional lines to our plan for a low fee. You seriously can’t beat these prices! In fact, I plan on grabbing a phone for each of the boys and adding them to our current plan.

One of the main reasons that I needed a new phone was because the camera somehow broke on my other phone. Photos were coming out blurred and that just wasn’t cutting it. I’m that mom that keeps my phone with me 24/7 so that I don’t miss any of those precious memories that can be caught in a snapshot. I had the new ZTE Zinger with me earlier this week while Max and I were playing fetch outside. His hover toy is laying just past the edge of the photo and he’s patiently awaiting me to pick it up and throw it, while never taking his eyes off the prize priceless!
But let’s get back to Mother’s Day here. You know me, I like to ramble sometimes! I’ve found a bit of an obsession with Fairy Gardens lately and want one in the worst way. I told my husband and boys that’s what I want for Mother’s Day! But I don’t have patience when it comes to something that I want, especially when I get super cool DIY ideas. So I busted out the clay and got to work making little mushroom toad stools and stepping stones for my fairy garden that doesn’t even exist yet! Once I started making them, I couldn’t stop and now have about 3 dozen of each. Now I’m thinking that fairy gardens are in order for our moms this Mother’s Day too!
Using my new ZTE Zinger, once Mother’s Day rolls around, I’ll send a text to each of our moms that says “Happy Mother’s Day!” and attached will be this photo. I wish I could see their faces as they sit and wonder what the heck is in the photo, but they sure will be surprised when I stop over with a fairy garden next week!
Now that you’ve read my plans for Mother’s Day, how do you plan to capture you Mother’s Day memories this year
