Our local Earth Day celebration was canceled this year, but I was still able to make another change in our lives to becoming a more Eco-friendly family.? I have been using Repurpose Compostables a line of green, single-use tableware products made exclusively from plants.? It doesn’t get greener than that.? I try to teach my children how important it is to keep our Earth clean by teaching them when opportunity presents itself.
Repurpose Compostable tableware products are made from plants like corn and sugar, which are annually-renewable resources.? All?their products are 100% compostable in an industrial composter unlike plastic products.? Their products are BPA-free, chlorine-free, petroleum-free and use only soy-based inks. ?Their tableware products are very durable.? I have had the opportunity to?use their plates, bowls, cups, utensils and coffee cups.? Since receiving Repurpose products I have begun my morning coffee ritual again?using their coffee cups.? It’s just so much easier than having to clean my two favorite coffee mugs.? I have to have a lid on my coffee mug because I drink my coffee most of the morning.
I feel so much better using products that are safe for our environment.? I may only be one person, but at least I am trying to make a difference and am teaching my children to do the same.? We garden, recycle, upcycle and anything else we can to make a difference.? I can’t wait to see what Repurpose comes up with next.? Their?mission is to reduce the amount of plastics in our environment and offer guilt-free, renewable alternatives. By purchasing from Repurpose, consumers support a woman-owned, sustainable company that is changing the world?one cup, fork and plate at a time.
