In the past month I will have gone to 2 baby showers alone and I know I’ll have even more to attend by the end of the year. I absolutely adore going to a baby shower. There’s nothing more special than celebrating new life and an excited mom and what better way to share in their excitement than with some adorable and practical gifts that will last from the newborn phase and beyond. I always shop Fisher-Price when it comes to my baby shower gifts because they make top notch baby products.
The SpaceSaver High Chair just won the BabyCenter Mom’s Pick Award in the high chair category – and this is not the first time! This great chair provides all of the features of a full size high chair in half the space. It’s easy to clean with a wipeable and machine-washable seat pad and restraints, and a full size dishwasher-safe tray. The seat has two height adjustments, three recline positions, and a removable seat pad and back to transition from infant to toddler.
One of my all time favorite baby products is the Precious Planet Whale of a Tub. We had this tub when my son was little and he just adored it.
This cute tub just won awards in the categories of Best Looks, Value, Ease of Use, and Quality. The tub features a contoured “baby stopper” so your baby doesn’t slip and can be removed as baby gets older. It has a nice deep basin with a non-slip surface so you don’t have to worry about baby sliding around. It even comes with a cute whale toy and a plug at the bottom to drain. It’s clear to see why this tub won so many awards.
We’re in the midst of potty-training right now and the Froggy Potty makes going to the bathroom fun and inviting. The handles on the sides are great for my son as he likes to hold onto something when going and I love the removable bucket as well as the splash guard for easy clean-up. There’s a handle on the back so you can easily move the potty around. We got this at my baby shower for my son and I was glad I had it ready to go when he got old enough to use it.
Fisher-Price is my go-to for baby shower gifts. Not only are their items visually appealing for mom (or dad) and baby, but they’re always so durable and easy to use. Many of their products, like the SpaceSaver High Chair, grow with your child and are items you’ll use well beyond infancy. I loved all of my Fisher-Price items with my son and know all of the moms I gift to will love them as well.
