Shopping for a boy isn’t as easy as I thought it would be. Now that he’s 3, he is very particular about what he wears and how things fit. He likes to be comfortable and be able to dress and undress himself, so things like shorts with buttons are out. He also won’t just wear whatever I pick out for him – he wants a cool animal, or better yet, a superhero. Thankfully shopping at The Children’s Place makes it easy to find clothes he likes and feels good in.
I couldn’t believe the amazing selection of Marvel superheros and Disney character shirts they had available. It took him a long time to make a decision on which Marvel shirts he wanted. They had all of his favorite characters like Spider-Man, Hulk, and Captain America. They even had Marvel pajamas and accessories like hats. Disney characters are also well-loved in our house, especially Baymax, so we were pleasantly surprised to find some Big Hero 6 items in the store as well as Mickey and many others.
He’s a big fan of their Pull-on Cargo Shorts. He loves having the cargo pockets to hide his treasures in and the fit on them is great. They go up high enough to cover his training pants, yet still has a lot of stretch in the waist and they’re easy for him to get on and off by himself when going potty. The shirts fit great too. They’re all very breathable and well-made – perfect for summertime when we’re outdoors a lot.
My favorite thing about shopping at The Children’s Place, aside from their great prices, is how easily you can mix and match their clothes. All of their clothing is incredibly stylish, yet also really comfortable. There’s so many different options to choose from and the looks are endless because you can layer and combine the tops and bottoms for a new look. Not to mention all of their accessories like shoes, sunglasses, and hats really help to tie a look together.
Be sure to swing into a Children’s Place near you or shop online and check out all of their newest looks, perfect for summertime and beyond.
