When many people think about the words “Gluten Free”, they tend to immediately think it’s taste bad. But that’s definitely not the case. I’ve tried quite a few foods with the gluten-free label that tasted pretty darn delicious, and surprisingly didn’t even have much different of a taste that foods just like it.
Since more and more people are starting to live by a gluten-free diet, whether by choice or by their Doctor’s suggestion, Gluten-free Foods are becoming more available in restaurants and the grocery store. One of the popular gluten-free pizzas served in restaurants across the country comes from Smart Flour Foods who have launched a line of pizzas and crusts that consumers can grab from their grocer’s freezer.
The pizza from Smart Flour Foods is made with a flour blend of ancient grains, ensuring that it won’t taste bland like some other gluten-free pizzas. There are 3 varieties to choose from Uncured Pepperoni, Margherita and Classic Cheese. Each is made with real rGBH free mozarella and provolone cheese and contains no artificial ingredients or preservatives. The uncured meats are hand selected and free of antibiotics, nitrites and nitrates. You’ll enjoy crusts that are vegan, soy free, dairy free, and Kosher, made of sorghum, amaranth and teff as well.
I’m a pizza lover it’s my favorite food. My husband constantly jokes with me and says that I’d live on pizza if I could and I’ll admit, he might just be right. When I tried the pizzas from Smart Flour Foods, I was definitely surprised at how great it tasted. I couldn’t tell that it was gluten-free because it didn’t have that bland taste. Instead, it tasted like your normal every day frozen pizza. It was quite delicious and my family thought so as well. Next time, we’re going to make our own pizzas with the Smart Flour Foods crusts that are sitting in the freezer!
