I’m a simple kind of girl and there is almost nothing that I love more than a big, juicy and delicious burger. Well, maybe a side of fries is in order too. Now I don’t have the time, patience or budget to have a sit down meal in a nice restaurant very often, so my burger indulgence is either on the go or a quick 30 minute sit down with the hubs and/or kids.
That being said, I can often be found picking apart my burger, taking things off that I don’t like and all that fun stuff. So imagine my delight when I found out that McDonald’s now has a Create Your Taste ordering experience in select locations!
Inside these select stores, you’ll find the Create Your Taste kiosk where you’ll start by choosing your burger, your bun and finally your favorite toppings. There are 22 toppings to choose from so the possibilities are endless and you’re sure to find your favorites to create your perfect burger!
I’m simple, as I mentioned before, so while I had a blast making my sandwich, I didn’t get too “out there”. But, I did pick my favorites like bacon, cheddar and pepperjack cheeses, pickles, lettuce, mayonnaise and ketchup; all on a delicious buttered toasted ciabatta roll. I call this the “Bacon Bomb Burger”. Of course, I had to grab the fries and make it a complete meal. McDonald’s french fries are one of those things that I can never pass up!
My burger was perfectly delicious and I was pleasantly surprised after taking just one bite. My Bacon Bomb Burger didn’t name itself after all. No, in fact I named that baby after I realized just how delicious it was – because that baby tasted “the bomb”. Never in my life have I had a fast food burger taste this good. It was simply amazing and I cannot wait for the Create Your Taste kiosks to arrive in McDoanld’s restaurants closer to home!
Now of course I didn’t go out to eat alone. The hubby and our boys went with and my little spicy food lover {aka Lil Man} just couldn’t resist topping his burger off with some pepperjack cheese and lots of jalapenos.
Now my hubby on the other hand, he’s pretty visual so when he saw the Grill Thriller on the little pamphlet, he knew right away that he had to try that burger loaded with bacon, cheese, mushrooms, onions and sweet bbq sauce.
