I’ve made it no secret that I enjoy helping others and even more than that, I love companies that give back to the community. That’s why Kohl’s happens to be one of my absolute favorite companies and I’m happy to shout it to the masses.
Kohl’s gives back to our communities in many ways through Kohl’s Cares? and they’re just announced the Kohl’s Cares? Scholarship Program where over 2500 kids will be awarded nearly $400,000 in scholarships and prizes. Each of these students will have made a positive impact in their community in some way. You can nominate a child you know who stands up for what’s right and benefits their community. Kids ages 6 – 18 are eligible to be nominated for the Kohl’s Cares? Scholarship Program by an adult age 21 or over.
But that’s not the only way in which Kohl’s Cares? gives back to others. Have you ever been in a Kohl’s store and noticed the racks with books, stuffed animals and/or other items right behind the registers? Well those products are part of the Kohl’s Cares? merchandise program and every penny of the net profit from the same of those items goes straight to wonderful organizations.
The current Kohl’s Cares? merchandise consists of the new Disney Pixar collection which is available in stores and online through April 4th. This collection will benefit children’s health and education initiatives nationwide. There is a plush toy and book for Cars, Monsters, Inc, Toy Story: 2, Finding Nemo, Up and Wall-E; the later two available online only. The Disney Write-and-Erase Look and Find book completes this Kohl’s Cares? Disney Pixar collection.
I’ve spoiled my siblings and my own children as well as nieces, nephews and friends’ children with items from Kohl’s Cares? for years and I will continue to do so because not only am I supporting a great cause, but I’m also able to pick up nice gifts for just a few bucks!
