You can either have the book be read to you or read the book yourself. An important feature for me since both my girls are non-readers still. Check out the little video to see the pop-up features in action.
There are a few pages of story and then an interactive pop-up comes up that goes along with the story. There is always a feature to it where users click on things for added fun. Like hearing stories about the paintings on the wall or recreating the same jingle with the bells that was just played.
These are all screenshots of my six year old daughter enjoying the app on my iPhone 5s. The images are clear and the pictures bright and colorful.
Both my girls really enjoy book apps but this one is so much more than that. They never loose interest because throughout the story it switches over to the interactive stuff.
I like that there are more traditional stories every little kid has heard of with a mix of stories that might be new to them.
Don’t miss the fun bonus game, Star Dust, that is included. It is a constellation puzzle where the user has to rotate the constellation until they see the image from their downloaded stories. I do believe this is my oldest’s favorite part of the app. She enjoys the challenge and always wants to get a 3 star score for each one.
