I have always been and will always consider myself a gamer. Over the years my taste in games has changed and what I really enjoy playing today would have never held my interest decades ago. Where I use to obsess over fighting games, I now find myself enjoying repetitive games, puzzles or something completely new and different. I have actually surprised myself with how much I am enjoying the game Delicious – Emily’s New Beginning. Run a restaurant and raise a baby…sure no problem…all while getting me addicted and wanting to play more.
In Delicious – Emily’s New Beginning, Emily’s lovely little family welcomes its newest member! After the birth of their daughter, Emily and Patrick have to pick up daily life. Although there are lots of loving moments to cherish, local rivalry and the combination of work and parenthood are challenging. Will Emily’s Place be a success again? This is my very first delicious game but it won’t be my last. The characters are all new to me but for you regulars you catch up with Francois, Angela, and all your other favorite Delicious characters. You get to manage multiple restaurants and compose delicious new menus while capturing memorable moments and think back to those special days while glancing through your scrapbook. Just make sure to handle the daily challenges that come with work and motherhood to earn all the trophies.

You set your menu to best suit the customers that you will be having that day. Your clientele have a certain set of likes and some get you bonus points because they like playing with Paige but beware soccer moms as they are not interested in playing with your baby and it will cause your tips to go down.
It becomes increasingly difficult every single level you play. It becomes harder as you have to start assembling meals and baking pies while delivering orders to the right tables, yet still cashing them out and keeping your baby happy all at the same time.
Of course more customers means more money but don’t worry you can let your bus boy clean tables by clicking on the tables to direct him.
I had no idea that playing restaurant could be so much fun! You have to make sure to adjust the menu every day and remember that you can do other things like take and deliver a quick drink order while the pie bakes. I honestly can’t imagine how fast paced I will have to be once I get further along but it all comes down to doing everything in the best order to achieve happy customers. The game makes sure to change it up with a new little storyline before each level to keep it all fresh and enjoyable no matter how often you play. I like this because it is a game that I can enjoy as a mom since computer games are not just for kids!
