As a child I was considered a tomboy. Even in my late elementary school years my Big Pa was still buying me toy cars. I contribute my soft spot for sports cars to him. When my husband and I married I was driving a Camero. My middle child has followed in my footsteps. She too loves to play with cars and trucks. Just the other night she played for an hour in the sand with this new miniature car line by Modarri.

Even I was intrigued when I saw them. They are very durable and easy to maneuver. I love how you are able to create your own design by using a hex tool for taking them apart and putting them back together. The cars are designed for kids 8 years and up, although like myself many adults will find themselves fiddling with these beauties. I still don?t know how I will keep them away from my one year old son. Those of you with small children need not worry though because these cars are very well made and it will be nearly impossible for a small child to figure out the hex tool.

These beauties are very detailed and I am a sucker for details. Each modular car includes a chassis, hood/windshield, seat pan, seat, fenders and frame, hex tool, four wheels, front and rear suspensions and a hex tool.

The sleek design, modularity, use of the tool and suspension features make Modarri totally unlike any other toy cars in the market. The wheels move with the car as you turn corners.

The line is launching with a Street Car S1, Dirt Car X1 and Track Car T1. You can either purchase them ready to play with or you can select the DIY model and customize the vehicles with their own paint jobs. Modarri would make the perfect holiday gift for any child or even adults that collect toy model cars.
