Y’all know by now that I love baking. I’ve taken a step back from my almost daily adventures in the kitchen in pursuit of a healthier lifestyle, but every so often, I find myself baking up a storm. Sonshine is a total sweet-tooth, I wonder where he gets that from, and this time of year just begs for warm, delicious, and sweet treats! We also like to bake and cook with wholesome ingredients, gluten is not a deal breaker, although we all feel better when we eat less of it, but I like to know that our ingredients are pronounceable and organic when at all possible. With Immaculate Baking I get the best of both worlds in many of their products!
I was first privy to Immaculate on, in all places, an airplane. A small bag of their double chocolate chip cookies were given during flight and I’ve been smitten ever since. They were delicious, rich in flavor, and just this side of decadent. Now, Immaculate has a line of Gluten-Free Chocolate Chip and Sugar Cookies Scratch Mixes. They are by far, the easiest cookies to make. Mix the box, gluten-free vanilla, with soften butter, throw them in the oven, agonize over the timer, then bite your nails while they cool. The cookies are moist, bite-sized, and you’ll never know they’re Gluten-Free. The Sugar Cookies will be great for the holidays, now everyone can get into the decorating fun!
Who doesn’t love chocolate? You can’t be my friend if you don’t! The Double Chocolate Chip Mix tastes just like I remember the first time I had Immaculate. Richly dense without sacrificing flavor, despite the wholesome ingredients. The Brownie Scratch Baking Mix. Oh. My. Goodness. Everything with chocolate missed out on pictures. They were inhaled. Gone, like the wind. Although not Gluten-Free, the brownies are gooey delicious.
This Monday, Sonshine turns the big 05! When I’m not too busy crying, I’m planning out an Outer Space Cake per request. The Yellow Cake and Chocolate Cake Scratch Mixes will be the primary box mixes I’m using, for their great ingredients and amazing taste!
The Organic Pancake & Waffle Mix was by far, hands down, the favorite in the house. We added vanilla some days, others, not, and they were delicious, moist, and fluffy regardless. With just am the right amount of sweet, we made stack after stack of flapjack until the box was gone. The box lasted just three days and I’m tempted to buy a waffle maker, just try these with the extra crunch!
I love good flour. Immaculate Organic All-Purpose Flour is unbleached, unprompted organic all-purpose flour with no artificial ingredients. It’s a lot fluffier than other flours I’ve used in the past. I used this flour to make the cinnamon rolls from last week, and they had such a cleaner, non-alkaline taste, I can’t imagine using any other flour ever again.
We are really enjoying these All-Natural, no preservative mixes and flour. It’s a lot easier to enjoy sweets and treats while eating cleaner and honestly delicious too!
