Oh my Gosh! I don’t even know where to begin with this little guy. He can do so much! I’d like you all to meet Ozobot. My family calls him “Oz” for short. He’s just the cutest little robot ever! He may only be 1″ tall but there is a whole lot of technology packed into this one little package!

Ozobot comes with a USB charging stick, a helmet and a little round, plastic storage case as well as the original square storage case that everything comes in.

“Oz” came with several small game boards that help you to learn to write the different codes that tell him what to do. He also comes with several cards that tell you how to calibrate and care for him as well as a fold up miniature game board to play with him on.

“Oz” not only interacts with the game boards provided, you can also draw your own on regular paper with thick tipped markers using the colors black, red, green and blue to create the commands that tell Ozobot what to do.

Ozobot also interacts with iPads and iPhones and you can download free aps like Ozoluck, OzoPath and OzoDraw (all free on the Apple and Google Play app stores).

Ozobot is designed for children ages 13 and over as it does require some basic reasoning skills and teaches basic programming concepts. It is highly recommended that younger children have adult assistance so that they do not become frustrated.

I thought “Oz” was great! I not only had fun playing with him, so did my son-in-law and daughter. We were enthralled watching him light up for the first time and then perform his maneuvers around the various boards that he came with.

The Ozobot website is excellent. There’s a lot of “how to” videos as well as game boards that you can download or print. There’s a Learn Zone, Game Zone and Share Zone. There is also an OzoApps tab for downloading a variety of different apps to use Ozobot with. There is a wealth of information here that is easy to understand and to follow.

You can purchase an Ozobot Single Pak for only $49.99 in Crystal White or Titanium Black or an Ozobot Dual Pak with one of each color for $99.99. If you are looking for a high tech interactive toy for your young teens, Ozobot is the way to go! It’s a great buy for a really great product!
