So we’re sharing some of our picks that are sure to be enjoyed by the older “kids”! We’ll be adding new items all the time, so be sure to check back often for even more great gift ideas!

Older kids can be a bit tougher to shop for, but luckily they’re at that age where they care about their appearance, therefore making clothing a great option for gifting. You’ll find jean styles that will fit the whole family at Lee, like the Modern Series Straight Leg Jean (men’s sizes). They’re available in more than 10 colors and are part of the Active Comfort Denim line, which means they’re easy to move in. Lee also offers a very wide variety of other clothing options and styles for girls, boys, men and women like pants, jackets and more
Cost: The Modern Series Straight Leg Jeans are $53, but are often on sale too!
3rd Culture Style is a pop culture brand and some of their designed are named after the acronym for for the founder Taku. Try and Keep Up styles like this black and camo tee encourage people to “try and keep up”. My boys like to be pushed to the limits and are always trying to keep up, and sometimes even “one-upping” each other, so I knew that this particular t-shirt would be perfect for my Lil Man. He’s a sucker for the camo, so this shirt fits his style nicely.
You’ll find a variety of colors and different styles at 3rd Culture, perfect for any tween or teen on your gift list.
Cost: $36
My boys are always asking to use my tablet, so this year, I can’t think of anything better to get them than the Toshiba Encore Mini tablet. With a 7 inch screen, it’s the optimal size to fit into the their hands. It features 1GB of memory and up to 7.3 hours of battery life.
Cost: $99
The tween and teen years are perfect for getting in touch with your creative side and while not everyone is a novice crafter, especially at this age, the Project Life line by Stampin’ Up is perfect for everyone. You’ll get an album, card collection, accessory pack and pens – everything you need to memorialize those precious memories. It’s simple to use for even the non-creative types, so it really makes a great gift and as well as a nice way to keep those memories alive.
Stampin Up offers a huge variety of other products for the experienced crafter as well. You’ll find everything from stamps and punches to paper, ribbon and so much more!

These days, most kids have a smartphone and if yours doesn’t, they’re not considered “cool” and they most likely complain that they have no way to keep in touch with their friends. It’s no use arguing, because times sure aren’t like they were when we were kids! Since our modern day tweens and teens seem to be a bit more on the irresponsible side and often don’t take as good of care of their things as they should, I’d say the Nokia Lumia 530 is a great option for their first smartphone. It’s got everythign that your child needs from a 5 MP camera, 1.2 GHz quad core processing to a 4″ display and expandable memory.
Cost: $29.99 with activation

The Folding Mancala Game from The Franklin Mint is made from solid wood and contains glass stones. this would be a wonderful choice for the tween or teen on your gift list!
