Younique Moodstruck 3D Fiber Lashes: Get the Lashes You Deserve

I am a makeup crazy mom. I’ve loved using makeup since high school and really flourished in application after I could afford my own cosmetics, instead of borrowing from my mother’s stash before school. When used correctly, makeup can truly enhance your natural beauty, which we all have, or help accentuate your favorite features. For me, that is my eyes. They’re big and a color that I get complimented on, but, my lashes are lacking in the full department. Now, I can fake thicker, fuller, and richly deep lashes without using false lashes thanks to Younique’s Moodstruck 3D Fiber Lashes and my own personal presenter, Kristen Youmans!

Younique is a direct sales cosmetic company does most of it’s work through social media, which is a bit different than other direct sales companies. Just looking through their online catalogue, you can see that the items are definitely unique compared to other brands! When Kristen suggested the Moodstruck 3D Fiber Lashes, I was definitely excited and intrigued. The sleek black box comes with two items inside, a Transplanting Gel and a second tube filled with Natural Fibers. The gel looks just like regular mascara, while the fibers, well, they look like a black poof on a wand.

First, you apply a light coat of your favorite mascara onto your lashes and allow it to dry. Next, you coat the lashes with the Transplanting Gel then brush on the Natural Fibers. I like to have my fibers open and ready to go, because they are dry and will not stick to dry lashes. If your lashes start drying out, the fibers will fall off, so reapply the gel until you get the desired look. It took a few days of playing with the Moodstruck 3D Fiber Lashes to get used to applying. I use the tip on the second round of application to keep my lashes separated, but if you have a lash comb, you can use that.

The top pi true is my naked lashes. From far away, they are barely noticeable. The bottom picture is with two coats of natural fibers. If you have smaller eyes, go ahead and do the bottom lashes too. My eyes are too big and when I do the bottom, I look a little funny. When I add eyeliner and eye shadow, my eyes really pop and I get a lot of compliments when I go out. The lashes felt heavy the first couple of times, but the fibers are a lot lighter than use false lashes. Plus, there’s no glue required and the fibers and gel wash off with your normal cleanser! And now that I’m used to applying, it barely adds seconds to my usual routine. I don’t think I’ll be able to live without these fiber lashes in my life forever!
