It feels like cold and flue season is already here. With school in session the germ sharing has already begun. My daughter’s teacher sent out an email just today letting the parents know that a cold was making its way through the school. As if on queue my daughter came home today saying she wasn’t feeling well. So I let her prop her feet up with some Disney movies playing all afternoon so she could rest. Of course there has been a lot of sneezing and lots of snot. I broke out the Scotties Tissues for the ultimate in softness for nose wipe after nose wipe. Scotties now has the most adorable kittens as their mascots. I have a thing for cats and these kittens are cuteness overload!
In celebration of their new mascot (white kittens) and box design, Scotties has sponsored adoption fees (up to $15,000) for select cats and kittens across the country! That comes out to about 150 cats. We have our own kitty that we rescued and he has been a loving member of our family for 9 years now. I love when a company helps out our fur friends.
All Scotties products are made in the USA by Irving Tissue, Inc., a family owned company committed to managing its operations in an environmentally sustainable and socially responsible manner. They have a tree planting promise that they will plant three tree seedlings for every tree they use to produce Scotties products. These seedlings planted in spring and summer help to reforest the woodlands. In the past 50+ years, J.D. Irving, Limited has planted over 850 million trees.
The box designs are nice enough to leave out in different rooms of the house. I normally have one in each bathroom as well as one in the bedroom. I also like to send in a pretty box to school at the beginning of the year because I just like cute tissue boxes. I just can’t resist those kitties! I also really like that their tissues are still hypoallergenic and have no dyes or inks.
Every time you grab a Scotties tissue you are not only using an incredibly soft tissue that withstands the grossest of sneezes but you can feel good about it because you know the company is doing what it can with sustainable forestry.
